What is a DEA License?
Whether you’re prescribing controlled substances, administering medications, or responsible for logging controlled inventory, Roo can help you stay one step ahead of the curve. It’s our goal to support the community with the most up-to-date information.
Some veterinarians choose to get a DEA registration, which is required to prescribe controlled substances such as fentanyl, morphine, etc. It carries some extra cost and risk but can make you more valuable as a veterinarian as well.
You'll need DEA registration to work certain shifts on the Roo platform, which you'll see noted in the shift card.
