Shift Requests will populate on your Roo Home page, and you'll get email notifications as well if you have those turned on. Click "Review" to see who's interested. Check out their profiles and experience, then "Confirm" or “Decline” a request depending on your needs. Requests expire after a few days, but if you miss one, you can easily “Renew” the request for that Vet or Tech!
Confirming a Request
Review a Vet or Tech’s profile and if it’s a match, you can easily confirm them to your shift.
When will I be charged for a shift?
Once your shift is confirmed, you will be charged 72 hours before a shift. We have flexible cancellation policies if things change before then.
Shift Adjustment Requests
Vets can submit requests for additional pay, different start/end times, or surgery requirements depending on your shift settings. You will see any changes they make in the shift request card before you make your decision to confirm.
Declining a Request
Alternatively, you can "Decline" any requests from Vets or Techs you're not interested in or if you don't want to approve the changes they made to your shift.
ROO PRO TIP: It is important to respond to requests. Vets and Techs can only request a limited number of shifts for a given day. By declining a request from a Vet or Tech you do not want to work with, you allow them to make additional requests for that date.
Renewing a Request
Heads up: Requests expire after 4 days. On the shift request card, you’ll see a message to let you know how much time you have. Don't worry, if a request expires before you're able to get to it, you can easily renew the request to make sure you get the Vet or Tech you want.
