Bond Vet has grown rapidly, expanding from 13 clinics to 50 locations in just four years. With that growth came increasing workforce complexity, coordinating coverage across regions, and gaps to fill from PTO and locations with open roles, all while maintaining consistent standards of care at scale.
Corinna Lugo, Bond Vet’s Workforce Planning Manager, manages relief staffing partnerships and relief staffing across every Bond Vet location. She manages shift postings directly while collaborating closely with individual Clinic Managers to ensure each location has the right Vet or Tech.
Before Roo, Corinna said coordinating relief staffing relied heavily on very manual outreach and fragmented communication.
“It was unsustainable, as we were growing, to rely on our previous methods often involving direct communications, which at times could be overwhelming to manage on an individual basis."
As Bond Vet aims to expand all locations to include weekend coverage and extend clinic hours, it has became clear they need a scalable, enterprise-ready solution.
With Roo integrated into its workforce strategy, Bond Vet has expanded access to care by adding appointments on weekends and maintaining coverage during staffing transitions. Clinics can continue operating at full capacity without compromising patient experience.
Roo Vets and Techs have also become trusted, repeat partners for Bond Vet’s clinics. “They are so adored. Their medical ability and quality is great, and they've been able to really integrate seamlessly into our Bond Vet culture.”
