Explore a holistic, patient-centered approach to senior pet medicine that prioritizes quality of life and proactive intervention strategies in just 1 hour.

Get up to speed on senior pet care beyond diagnostics and NSAIDs
We’ve got an hour together to explore a holistic, patient-centered approach to senior pet medicine that prioritizes quality of life, multimodal pain management, and proactive intervention strategies. You will gain practical tools to enhance clinical outcomes, improve client communication, and implement structured senior care protocols within their practice.
By the end of this session, you will be able to:
1. Identify common gaps in traditional senior pet care, including over-reliance on diagnostics and NSAID therapy
2. Develop multimodal, individualized care plans addressing pain, mobility, nutrition, and cognitive health
3. Evaluate and apply quality-of-life (QOL) assessment tools to guide clinical decision-making
4. Implement proactive, preventive, and palliative care strategies to improve senior patient outcomes
5. Apply effective client communication techniques to increase understanding, compliance, and engagement in senior pet care
