In this special fireside chat, Char Weir from Roo and Gigi Tsontos from Not One More Vet (NOMV) will explore how veterinary practices can build healthier, more sustainable workplace culture. They will discuss the real challenges facing today’s veterinary teams, the essential components of a mentally healthy practice, and the actionable steps leaders can take to support staff well-being from general strategies to NOMV’s CLEAR Blueprint program. This conversation highlights how clinics of all sizes can foster psychological safety, strengthen team resilience, and create environments where veterinary professionals can truly thrive.

Gigi Tsontos

Gigi Tsontos is a licensed clinical social worker and the executive director of Not One More Vet. With over two decades of experience in nonprofit and mental health arenas, Gigi brings a lens to the issue of veterinary wellbeing that supports prevention and intervention. After college Gigi volunteered with the Peace Corps in West Africa returning to complete her MSW at Columbia University and later an MPA at San Diego State University. She lives in Kansas with her partner and five four leggeds -three boston terriers and two cats.

Charlotte brings over a decade of expertise in the veterinary field, excelling as an Advisor, VP, and Founder with a strong focus on business consulting and developing robust veterinary startup business plans. Charlotte founded 2525 Sunset Veterinarians in November of 2021, a full-service veterinary hospital in Houston, Texas.
