Speaker

Dr. ALISON DIESEL, DVM, DACVD

Dr. Ali Diesel grew up primarily in Connecticut before attending veterinary
school at Kansas State. Following an internship, she completed her residency in
dermatology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and joined the faculty at
Texas A&M in 2010. After teaching for 12 years, she pursued private specialty
practice with the Animal Dermatology Clinic – Austin. She joined Zoetis as part of
the Veterinary Specialist team (Dermatology) in May 2025. Her main interests
include allergic skin diseases in companion animals, especially cats. She is
currently serving on the Board of Directors of the American College of Veterinary
Dermatology as President-Elect.


Outside of work, Dr. Diesel enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, traveling, and
doing CrossFit. She currently lives in Austin, Texas, with her “House of Carbs.”
